Salou & PortAventura: Family Transfer Tips
Travelling to Salou, Cambrils or PortAventura with children — child seats, travel times and how to keep the journey calm.
Salou is 105 kilometres south of Barcelona Airport, about 1 hour 10 minutes by motorway. It is the base for PortAventura World and Ferrari Land, so most arrivals are families with plenty of luggage.
Travelling with children
Spanish law requires an approved restraint for children under 135 cm. We fit baby seats, child seats and boosters free of charge — we only need the ages when you book. In a V-Class each child has an individual seat, which makes the journey far calmer than a crowded shuttle bus.
Shared shuttles stop at multiple hotels and can add an hour. A private transfer goes straight to your door.
Prices
Barcelona Airport to Salou or Cambrils starts at €170 for a sedan and €195 for a V-Class. From Reus Airport (REU) it is only 20 minutes and starts at €40.
